Seattle 2

As promised, this was a low-key day. I spent much of the morning cleaning up my Lightroom catalogue, including deleting second-tier images. They are all still saved on my back-up drives - just in case. But I wanted to look at a cleaner catalogue. With just over three weeks to go, I have about 15,000 images that that have been saved to my primary external drive. That works out to an average of about 1,300 images per month, just over 300 images per week and about 45 images per day. That doesn’t include all of the iPhone images documenting museum exhibits.

In the afternoon, I accompanied Art on an errand, after which we met a friend of his for a pleasant dinner.

Seattle continues to live down to the expected rainy dreary weather pattern. I am glad I decided not to visit either of the Washington State National Parks, Mt. Rainier or Olympic. While it remains true that there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing, it would have been a challenge and not much fun. So I am sticking to more urban areas the rest of the week.

Tomorrow, F & L will join me for an outing to the Seattle Art Museum.
