I spent this morning at Berlin City Toyota of Portland getting the passenger front inner tie rod replaced. As I have come to expect, I received excellent and efficient service. Kyle was my customer service representative and he was friendly and knowledgeable. The technician assured me the rest of the car was in excellent condition and, at least as it stands now, my tires should last the rest of the trip.
After I returned to my hotel at midday, I walked into town to do a little shopping and grab some lunch.
Then in the late afternoon, I went back out to Two Lights State park with the intention of trying to capture some long exposures of the water crashing on the rocks. It was probably a bit early, but the days as still long and I wanted to get back at a reasonable hour. I did chat with a number of people. Mainers are a friendly and social bunch. I really am looking forward to shorter days so that capturing images at the ends of the day will be more reasonable and won’t induce sleep deprivation. I can’t afford to be tired when I am driving.
Tomorrow I leave Portland and head North to Acadia National Park to finish up my week in Maine.
