I kicked this morning off with a second bivalent COVID booster. You may remember I tried to obtain one when it first became available to me a few months ago, but the drugstores did yet have their “protocols” in place. Ummmm - stick a needle in my arm? Anyway, because I am at a friends house for the entire week, this seemed like a good opportunity. However, if this dose follows the same pattern as my previous vaccinations, it is likely that I will be out of commission tomorrow. As such, I have planned no activities. I’ll be playing it by ear.
My next appointment was to get my teeth cleaned. I realize that sounds totally mundane, but these things are more challenging on the road. Fortunately, my friend R was able to recommend her Framingham Dental Group and they were willing to take me for a one time appointment, for which I was grateful. Karol did a wonderful job. Second boxed checked.
After a stop to pick up groceries - I have a kitchen all week! - I headed back to take advantage of free laundry. All of those activities pretty much ate up the day. Which was not a bad thing as it
poured rain all day . We did not get hit as hard as the Hudson Valley, or even further East in New England or further North in Vermont. But the roads were a bit flooded - enough to turn on my 4WD - and it would have been pretty unpleasant to be out and about. Yes, it is true that the best photos are made in inclement weather, and also that there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing. This was still pretty miserable. So, sorry, no images today (other than the cover). Just taking care of life.
