Today was a low key day. J and N took me for a walk around their complex, which is right on the Atlantic Ocean side of the Keys. In addition to all the birds, lizards and iguanas, we noticed a military helicopter. We hypothesized they were searching for illegal migrants coming from Cuba and Haiti.

We then went out for a lovely brunch, after which we visited Florida Keys Wild Bird Center .

Importantly, I was able to do some laundry, a key advantage to a home stay.

Tomorrow I head down to Key West.
