Dover (Bombay NWR)

I spent the day at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge . This refuge came with high expectations. However, I had a rather quiet day from a wildlife sighting perspective. A gentleman with whom I had an extended conversation, and who knows this refuge well, said that these weeks are a lull between times with more activity. He gave me some great tips on where to find owls, but apparently they did not want their photograph taken today. That is how wildlife photography goes sometimes. It was a very pleasant day, and I would definitely visit this refuge again. But I would do some research when are more optimal times.
