Colorado Springs to Durango

Today was a long travel day, so not much in the way of photographs. I’m coming to understand just how much of the U.S. is a whole lot of nothin’.. Scenic nothin’, but still nothin’. Over my 7 hour drive (including stops), the only town of any size between Colorado Springs and Durango was Pagosa Springs, and it was still pretty small, mostly a sprawling strip along the access road for a few miles.  I’m going to start adding routes that I have traveled from one place to the next in case that is of interest.  In my copious spare time I will try to go back and reconstruct the first month.

Tomorrow I will explore the Durango area.
