Another abbreviated day

read the post
Today was, by necessity, another low key day. We learned that D had to stay another night in the hospital for observation. Hopefully he will be released tomorrow morning.

In the meantime, I visited the Andrea Fisher Gallery in downtown Santa Fe. This gallery specializes in the finest pottery by many of the Pueblo tribes. It is more than a retail store, it is an educational and artistic experience. David, the salesperson I spoke to, told me about each of the artists and what made their pieces special. Truly gorgeous stuff. I resisted purchasing any pieces, but I will definitely be keeping the possibility open in the future.

I had hoped to visit Site Santa Fe, a contemporary art gallery, but unfortunately they were closed. So all I had left was a bit of shopping ;-). I stopped by Art.i.fact clothing , a high end consignment store. There I could not resist purchasing a little something.

I hope to get in a hike tomorrow before heading down to Southern New Mexico on Friday.
Dawn from the porch
The curtains in the hospital were all made from nature scenes, presumably from around New Mexico. We are guessing this might be in the Gila WIlderness, but the jury is still out. Actually a pretty nice idea to brighten up a hospital room.
